Scrolling the news, the world seems to have endless crises. It often seems impossible to make a difference in the face of such overwhelming issues, but we can help. Arts for Global Change gathers local community and eager youth to use the music, visual art, literature, and anything that adds beauty to the world to help raise awareness and funds to support aid to the issues that matter, and the people in need.

Annual Benefit Concerts

2022 Benefit Concert for Ukraine

High school musicians gathered at the Glen Ridge Women's Club to raise money for Red Cross aid in Ukraine. Pieces like x, x, and the Ukraine National Anthem were performed.

2023 Benefit Concert for Earthquake Relief in Turkey

High school musicians performed at the Glen Ridge Women's Club various genres and kinds of music to raise awareness and funds to donate for relief for the people struggling in Turkey in the aftermath of devastating earthquakes.

2025 Benefit Concert for Raising Funds for Local EMS Squad

High schoolers gathered at the Glen Ridge Women's Club to perform various forms of art from musical theater sequences to classical pieces to raise money for new equipment and an additional squad car for the Glen Ridge EMS volunteer squad, which acts as the main paramedics for Glen Ridge.

2026 Event for Combating Book Bans

High school book lovers gathered at the Glen Ridge Women's Club to fight against book bans nationwide. There were recitations of excerpts banned books, passionate speeches, art displayed from students at the high school, and interludes of musical performances. Proceeds were donated to Unite Against Book Bans.
