TikTok is arguably the most influential social media platform in the world, having about 1.7 billion active users. Despite its definite drawbacks, such as the correlation to poorer mental health, TikTok definitely has its advantages. Matthew Perry, has passed away at 54. His most famous character was undoubtedly Chandler Bing, the ridiculous comic of the long time TV show, Friends. But one has to question how the products have such low prices, with both ethical and quality concerns in mind. It has been proven time and time again that platforms similar to this, such as SHIEN, promote unsustainable fast fashion and commonly utilize immoral production practices, like child labor.
