Hyaluronic Acid: Real or a Social Media Myth?

My dad and I got into a disagreement over the validity of the benefits of hyaluronic acid promoted on social media. I was all for it, but my dad drew his skepticism from his background as a science major. So, we decided to conduct and experiment. The results were conclusive, hyaluronic acid in dry environments appears to have a negative evaporative rate coefficient, meaning it draws water away from the skin rather than trapping it in.
